Sky q box question

I have our system in the house running off a russound cav 6.6 and have a free upgrade to sky q box. Am i right in thinking the sky q remotes are not IR and therefore aint gonna work with the cav 6.6? If the remote is Bluetooth what is tge range of it? Box would be approx 25ft away and concrete walls

Back at this again have to get the sky q box does anyone know does the sky q box have an rca cable output? Will it be possible to get a hdmi switched to a composite signal?
