My attic Stairs needs replacing. I have the new one purchased ready to go but could anyone give me an idea how much it will cost. Its just a matter of removing the old one & installing the new one. Is it a big job? Thanks a mill.

If the new one is absolutely identical in size and the way it fits to the old one it will be a small enough job - to the extent that it will be hard enough to find someone to do it. If you are handy and could work out exactly how the old one was fitted, and the new one will fit in exactly the same way it should be possible to do it yourself, though you will probably need a bit of help with handling. If it will need some adjustment then you are probably talking about a half day job, maybe 150 - 200 euros depending on where you are and who you can find. (Yes I know it probably won't take a half day, but how long it takes and what you will be quoted are not the same thing). Did you ask in the place you bought it if they know of any fitters?
