    Hi lads can you legally target practice in a field in Ireland with an air rifle .22 (plink)
    I know you can’t with rimfire and centerfire just not sure about air rifle

    No.

    Still a firearm so the same rules apply.
    There's a grey area surrounding zeroing but that's it, beyond that target shooting may only be conducted on an authorised range.
