I used to listen to Newstalk all the time but i think the quality of presenters has dis improved greatly. Mark Cagney to replace Ivan Yates? i am not sure if this is permanent but i most certainly will not be listening to him. Wasnt a fan of Chris O Donoghue but i could bear him when he was on the morning show with Ivan. From memory Calire Byrne and Ivan Yates had a good show.
May be controversial to say but losing George Hook was a great loss, didnt agree with his politics but i found him to be honest and not afraid to give his opinion which didnt always go down well. Moving Tom Dunne to the night time slot was also a bad move as i enjoyed him greatly before in his daytime show. dont know why exactly but i found him to be very likeable. And finally Sarah Mc Inerney just doesn't do it for me. The only one left there worth listening to is Pat Kenny.
Listen to the show in the morning and cant even remember the name of the two presenters, there alright but if one of them left in the morning i wouldnt even notice
I know all i have to do is "move the diall" but it will be a permanent move for me.

Sorry OP, this is already well covered in the respective threads. Some of the presenters, like Sarah McInerney were replaced years ago, so there's also lack of relevance. Finally, general Newstalk threads are usually too wide-reaching to have any focus. Thread closed.
