Driving test wait times - Dun Laoghaire test centre

I just finished my EDT lessons and they have been updated in the portal. I had 'applied' for my test back in February but still had to complete my lessons back then.

I'm now waiting for a test date.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten their test date yet for Dun Laoghaire and how long is the wait time?

Is it likely to get a cancellation slot?

    Any indications would be great!

    Thanks

My experience is pre covid but for a couple of reasons when I each had to reschedule my test and give a block out period, my test date was always for the first day my blocked out period had ended!

So I can only surmise that Deansgrange TC isn't as busy as others. Booked my test again yesterday and the RSA site says 6 weeks.

I have my driving test at the Dun Laoghaire test center on Sept 01.
My earlier test which was scheduled in March got canceled due to Covid lockdown.

They are now prioritising appointments for #1) health care and essential workers #2) people like me whose test got canceled due to Covid and then #3) everyone else.

Hope this helps. Wish me luck :)

    Hi There,

How are you planning to source car for the test? I am unaware of it. Nervous like hell with test 2 weeks away.
