IP rated Fuse board for Metal shed

    Hi

    Does the regs state that you need a IP rated board in a small steel shed? Shed is water tight

    Essentially the board must be suited to the ambient conditions that it will be exposed to. I would normally install a Hager distribution board with a high IP rating in a shed. This protects it from ingress of dust, moisture and provides it with increased mechanical protection. The additional cost is minimal.
