2010 Renault Fluence issues

The cruise control on my 2010 Fluence will not activate and no lights show on the dash. I have cleaned the clutch swicth and it has resistance so I guess that's ok. The cruise control on my 2010 Fluence will not activate and no lights show on the dash. I have cleaned the clutch swicth and it has resistance so I guess that's ok. I have checked the fuse box in the glovebox and engine bay and all fuses look good.

Also at idle the idle speed drops until it almost cuts out and then picks up again. It's slightly better when warmer and no issues when driving.
