Relocation Costs / Taxation

    Hi!

    I’ve been offered a job as a freelance, but it’s a full-time, salary job.

I have to relocate to Portugal for the job and it requires me to work from home but also be in the office occasionally. However, the company is a UK based company and I am paid from the UK to my Irish bank account!

My question is how do I go about offsetting my taxes for relocation costs, as essentially I have to move for the job. So things like rent, flight there, WiFi, electricity, gas, water, can I offset these against my taxes and how much is feasible to offset?

I’ve never had to do my taxes myself before so really confused about all this 😅 I’ve also registered on revenue for income tax

    Any help really appreciated !!
