I've recently bought these & found them outstanding over a 7 hr trip with regular 4 hr spins too.

Can't fault the Endura FS260 - I'm on my 2nd pair and they are miles better than anything else I own.

Cracking deals across the board at PlanetX.co.uk at the moment - their bib shorts are really good and are down as low as £20 at the moment.

Stock up as the delivery charge is a flat 9.99 regardless of the number of items ordered.

+1 on the Galibier bibs, i went for these https://galibier.cc/product/liberte/ and can't fault them for long days in the saddle.

Have two pairs of the Endura FS260s and I find the more recent ones with the red pad to be a bit too bulky compared to the older blue pad. Have a few pairs of Venge ones (Boards and club) and they are OK but not great after more than 4 hrs. I managed to pick up a pair of Assos shorts a while back at a somewhat reasonable price when a bike shop was closing down and they are fantastic but well outside the price mentioned. I'm thinking of the Galibier ones to replace the Endura when they finally wear out.

I agree with this. After that time I find they begin to chaffe a bit and find myself easing up out of the saddle a lot more often.

I have a couple of pairs of Rivelo Honister shorts which have a much thinner pad than the Enduras and are also comfortable. However, I tend not to use them on longer rides as the front of the bib is quite high and requires the straps to be taken off the shoulder when a 'comfort break' is required.
