    Hi All,
We are thinking of booking a few nights in Delphi.

Has anyone any recommendations of what/not to do ?

You could walk from Delphi to Louisburgh in memory of the Doolough Tragedy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doolough_Tragedy

well there is a lot to do in Delphi its self if you are into outdoor stuff, they organize surfing, and hill walking etc etc.
as mentioned above the walk/drive to lousiburg is spectacularly beautiful and also a very special emotive place. to stop by the little monument to the memory of famine dead and to the dunnes stores workers who opposed apartheid in the same pace. a place of such beauty that held such horror.

to me in many ways that place is our Auschwitz.

there is also leenane village which is only a couple of miles away and is nice.
also you can drive down to clifden and on the way is Kylemore abbey and walled gardens which is well worth the visit.

    Agree with above comments.
Maoilrea is the highest mountain in the area. Be careful climbing it. Can be dangerous in poor visibility

Do a search on Delphi. Some legal action being taken against them. Thread with caution with bookings

Went to Delphi last year and the place is very good and most of the staff are great, however their communication with customers is very poor, especially with the reservations.

Took a week for them to confirm my own booking and another family member had issues with their room not being what was booked. Thought that would've been it and fine it happens, but while checking in and out, I overheard other people all having similar issues.

The activities themselves are good and the views are beautiful. Bar / restaurant staff are lovely and the staff doing the activities were very friendly from my experience
