    Hi

I was accepted for JSA a few weeks ago and in the letter it said I would have to sign on in my local office on Tuesday the 28th of July. I can't get through to the office (tried on Friday) and was just wondering will it be going ahead with social distancing at the moment?

    Thanks

All you can do is present yourself at the right time.

Tried but got no reply unfortunately. Thanks though.

I just thought that there was no way they'd have a load of people queuing up in their offices to sign on at the moment because of social distancing. Can't see how they'll do it.

I'll head tomorrow and find out either way haha.

    Thanks

Wear a mask and follow the rules, no different then going the shops or post office for example.

Yeah I think people are still expected to sign on and keep a distance of 2mt. You might want to double check the opening hours of your local office as many are open to the public at reduced hours.

It's porbabtly a bit late to be calling them now, maybe try again in the morning before you head down if you want to be sure. Signing on has been suspended the last number of months due to Covid 19 and I've no idea when it's officially going to be expected again from people.

That's what I heard from a friend of mine that signing on had been suspended the last few months so was wondering if anyone on here had signed on recently. When I was on JSA a few years ago it would be on my receipt from the PO when my next sign on day is but obviously not like that now with getting it into the bank. The date for tomorrow was just at the bottom of my acceptance letter a few weeks ago. I would usually get a text to remind me as well when I was last on it.

I'll try them again in the morning. Thanks everyone for the replies.
