Planning - change of access

I have just moved into a small estate which has a shared entrance from the road to a private nursing home and my estate. There is a locked gate(keypad entry) leading from the estate to the nursing home. I notice over the last month that 2 of the local undertakers are removing deceased persons through this exit. This it seems has been going on over 15 years.
Why is there a gate from a nursing home into a private housing estate?
Is it proper that the deceased are taken away in full view of a private house rather than the rear access of the nursing home. It happens around 1.30pm I guess when people are at work.
    Any opinions?
    Thanks

I’m failing to see what the problem is here. A hearse bearing a coffin passes by some houses en route to its final journey. And?

A lot of people wouldn't be seen dead going out a back entrance!

I don’t see the issue here either. If it was a busy garage or business causing traffic or anti social behaviour I could see why you would object but a hearse?

    Good one CH!
To be serious check the Planning Permission re use of avenue in question
Even if this user was a breach of PP the Planning Authority may be unable to act if there has been more than seven years use

They normally use a coffin, so you don't see the body, don't they?

It's a cul de sac. Right reverse up and load up the deceased. There is only the hearse no family. There is the other option a long driveway leading out of the nursing home. Probarly too much bother to pull blinds in residents rooms ect. Very disrespectful imo but it's more than likely a breach of planning laws.

It's a private housing estate. Not a undertakers. It pulls up outside house No 2 and the body is wheeled out on a trolley . It's also the middle of a pandemic. They have a private entrance a few hundred metres down the road. Use that.
