What size rods/amps are you using? 3.2mm are hard to push on a Buzzbox and lead to overheating as you have found.
Try a thinner rod and make more passes at a lower amperage.

You need to look at the duty cycle as that will tell you how hard you can work it before it need to cool off.

    Duty Cycle: 60amp @ 100%

Thats what it says, it hardly means you can run all the time at 60 amps?

Im no pro (the opposite in fact!) at all but yea it would be able to weld a bead @ 60amp for 10minutes if the figures are to be believed .

    60A @ 50% means 5mins weld /5mins cooldown
    60 @ 80% means 8mins weld / 2mins cooldown

What amps are you running the 2.5's at? around 80amps would be normal.
If you are running more than that it could be why its getting hot.
Have you got a fan that you can run through the welder?
That helps a lot with cooling it down.
