Trespassing

I was walking down a country road. There was a house with a sort of wide entrance beside it and trucks in the yard. While walking by i noticed a man probably the owner checking his postbox. I was past the house and yard when i stopped to look at my phone. The man came up to me and said dont be caught trespassing in his yard again. I said i wasnt trespassing and he said he wanted it on record and was ringing the council and the guards. I did go by the edge of his entrance but i didnt explore his yard just the edge, the yellow lines were gone at the outside of the yard as it looks like he put gravel or something over them and like even if i had some bad intent why would i do it with the owner looking at me lol. In my mind i was walking like by the edge of the open yard and like didnt walk into. I looked at it on google maps after and in the pic on google the yellow lines were there. Even if i was inside them as i was walking past it couldnt have been by much. Like should i report this myself to the guards or the council but tbh what has the council to do with it.

Doubt he rang anyone, wanted to scare you away and hope you stay clear.

    Probably has mental issues.

Just ignore him and if he harrases you again report him to the Guards.

The Guards will soon realise who the reasonable party if he is reporting you for walking along a road.

There are some touchy people about. As already advised ignore him and move on. AGS will not heed him

Pull a Karen on him and I'm sure he will never speak to you again, but now saying that it actually sounds like he pulled a Karen....

Oh sorry, I hope not an issue, it's an American thing but Karen started it where a lady goes off on one for no reason and screams attack or racist or she could be attacked or raped etc...

You should hopefully see the funny side as videos all over YouTube of these Karen's making absolute fools of themselves....

OK thanks. Must spend more time on U-tube, or maybe not. I usually rely on my children to keep me posted on such matters.

There have been "Karens" here for yonks. I am not too far from Leenane, the setting of The Field,

That's pretty common on a lot of isolated country lanes with an old farm house/yard, they usually sprawl across either side of the road generally trying to make it feel unwelcoming and cause doubt to walkers as to whether it's private or not. Some of them aren't the full shilling so they're typically best avoided but I wouldn't put up with any harassment.

If you rang the local station they'd probably know the lad you're on about.

I just drove this morning instead of walked and will do that for a while. Like you said better to avoid and like i would have to pass twice lol.

Let him report away, I'm sure AGS will busily take down all the details on their invisible typewriter.
