Buying up North

    I know its been asked and answered before but i cant find it.
    I have seen a car matching the spec i am after up the North.
    Its a 2019 BMW520D.
    What questions should i ask the dealer?

    Realistically on a 2019 all I'd want to know is its short history. Where it came from, why up for sale at a year old, was it a demo or did someone buy it and trade it back in a year later.

    After that it's just individual things about the spec I suppose. If you get the chassis number you can get the full spec list somewhere... Not sure where on BMW but on my audi a6 I have an app and it gives me all standard spec and all the optional extras that were fitted to my particular car.
    I'd say the dealer has this full manufacturer spec list anyway so ask him for that. Assuming all checks out negotiate price as best you can and make sure you have your vrt calculation done so no nasty surprises.

    Ask about warranty remaining, can you use ROI garages for warranty work, very common question around this forum
