How can I open a bank account? I’m 18. A student. I don’t have any recent service bills in my name.

    Hi JDMC2

Thanks for checking this with us.

If it's a third level account you are looking to open, if possible you can use a recent tax certificate from Revenue dated within the last 6 months.

Also if you sign up for PAYE with Revenue, if you opt for PIN to come in the post, you can also use that letter for proof of address. If you have an account with the Credit Union we will also accept recent statement within the last 6 months.

    We hope the information helps,

    Many thanks
    Alison
