Barn painting

Hi, a steer here would be welcome.

Looking to get the barn painted. Will need a power washing, prime and two coats.

Has anyone any experience of Eurotech (based in Cork) of JMC in Kildare?

Yea me too. Last 7 year ‘guarantee’ didn’t quite last the full 7 years. 🤬

Castle paints in Tullamore supply good paint for doing sheds, roofs etc. They may also recommend bona fide firms that will do the job. By their nature however these firms are likely to be very busy with work. One man I rang up was busy in Kildare at the time and wasn't going to come to the west just to do one job on it's own.

I'll second that, Castle paints recommended a painter for me too and they were very good, Castle Paints sell very good paint too, lasts ten years easily.

We've to paint more often than most as we're beside a village that competes in the Tidy Towns Competition
