Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Which 28L Microwave to buy ? recommendations please

    Our 16 year old Samsung C103 28L microwave oven needs to be replaced.

    It has been a great workhorse - used a few times daily - mostly for short reheats of food and drinks for the kids.

    What we like:
    The 30sec quick start and the timer is clear and easy to use.
    It's easy to clean, with a removable glass tray, and easy wipe surfaces inside
    The 28 litre capacity - good for larger bowls of food etc
    Good defrost programmes for meat from the freezer etc.

    It has a grill and combination functionality, but in truth we've never got around to using these features.
    Might be nice to have in the new one.

    Would prefer a black one next time.

    Which 28L Microwave would people recommend as a replacement please
    Budget up to €200
