Having missed an skx013 recently on adverts due to my own stupidity I am keeping an eye on eBay. I see a few on it but most seem to be in the US or Philippines. Ones in UK seem to be crazy money.
How safe is dealing with either countries?
    Any one done so?

As long as you buy on eBay you at least have their protection and PayPal too.

From the US, I find the GSP to be quite expensive for shipping as they collect import duties and everything upfront.
TBH I'd rather roll the dice on customs.

I'd also recommend keeping an eye on reddit's r/watchexchange decent feedback system and quite a high turnover rate of watches on there particularly Seiko divers.

They've gone up so much in the last year or two that they are poor value for money compared to some other, superior, Seiko divers like the Turtle. Imho of course :D

Rather than second hand on eBay, for similar money you'd have a brand new one from creation for €294. That is if you don't get intercepted for customs.

Thanks for replies. Already have a turtle and the skx was costing more than a 4 th generation monster which was a year old and more modern movement. So bought the monster instead.
