Can people not clean up after drinking on the canal

Dirty scum leaving the canal outside the Barge pub in this state last night. If you're gonna sit on the canal and have a few scoops, at least bring home your rubbish or dispose of it properly. The gloves really were giving people the 2 fingers.

I don't understand why more bins aren't provided

The people who litter are the problem here, but more bins would help, when you just know the whole place, including the canal itself, is inevitably going to be littered. I think there's usually one temporary bin beside the canal at Portobello Harbour.
