    Hi
I am really interested in horticulture and everything related to it particularly fruit and herb production but also vegetable. Im currently looking about getting work in this area. Im from Dublin though and finding a tough time going about this. Could anyone recommend any dublin producers worth contacting or any decent contacts in this area? Thanks.

    Hi,
I'm not from Dublin but I would say your best bet would be to contact some local nurseries and garden centres. Apart from that, I know there are a few horticulture courses, one is run in the Botanic Gardens.

I know someone who did that about 30 years ago and he did very nicely for himself since. Runs his own business employing 6 people now.
