Dual claim on 2 land parcels

Hi,

Got a letter today from department advising of dual claim on 2 land parcels. I spoke to the other claimant and he has agreed to notify the department that he has no claim.

However I also need to provide documentation to the department of our right to the claim such as folio etc.

We have been claiming these parcels for many years through my mother who has the herd number however these parcels folio are in my name.

I dont have a herd number or any farming history with the department.

What other documentation could we provide to prove our claim?

Really you need copies of the folios. If you log onto the PRAI you can find the folios on the map. When you highlight them you can order digital copies of the folios which you can print off yourself. I think there are fairly reasonable about 12-15 euro each

Has the other fellow been getting paid on some of the contested ground?
Has digital mapping thrown up this anomaly, or the other follows Agri-Advisor moved a line on a map, or something?
If the other farmer signs a letter rescinding his claim on the contested area, then you're 90% of the way there..
