If you're in Glencolmcille, you're near Glengesh, The climb up from the Maghera caves, and the scenic coastal route from Kilcar to Killybegs. Can also cycle a good bit of the way up to Slieve League cliffs

You can't do Mayo and Donegal and skip the best bit.... https://www.strava.com/activities/1042672618#25637617945

Thanks retalivity. I’ll be in Glencolmcille in August and I now have a suitable objective. On to Ardara and back along the coast looks like a decent spin.

lovely part of the world. nancy's in ardara sell what they'll call you a cider, but be careful, it's just tasty leg paralysis juice.

Oh, even better. Glencolmcille, Glengesh, Ardara, jug of tasty leg paralysis juice and then try and cycle back to Glencolmcille. 🙂
