I'm trying to open a credit card merchant account, and the final document they require is a self assessment statement issued by Revenue Commissioners.
    Does such a document exist?
If so,how do I get one?
    If not,is there an equivalent?

you can use paye anytime and request via my enquiries a:

NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT Chapter 4 of Part 41A Taxes Consolidation Act 1997, for the year in question. This is only if you file a form 11.

i presume that is what they are looking for

Since it’s a merchant statement I assume they want evidence that you’re self employed and entitled to open a traders account. The assessment provides that evidence. If you’ve already filed form 11 it will be on your ROS my documents folder. If it’s your first year and you don’t have an assessment yet then evidence of your taxes registration for income tax might suffice. Again you can get that in ROS under registrations.
