Flowering climber for NE facing wall?

I'm looking to cover the front porch area of my house with something green that flowers. The rest of the front has a climbing hydrangea which has white flowers and I'd like something different as a contrast.
The wall is north-east facing and only gets some morning sun as my neighbours cherry tree blocks out most of the direct sunlight.
Preferably something self clinging or fairly self supporting. I'd love something that's got some colour in the flowers, has anyone any suggestions?

Could try Chinese virgina creeper(henryana) . No flowers be lovely colour all summer and autumn. And no where near as vigorous as most virgina creepers.
Apologies I've just suggested at plant that doesn't tick most of the questions you asked. :)

Passion Flower might be a good bet. I've got one growing in a pot in the same orientation as yours. Evergreen, self clinging once it takes off, unusual flowers followed by bright orange (inedible) fruits. Google passiflora caerulea.

There are several roses that would be happy in that orientation - check some of the specialist rose sites, David Austin for one. Honeysuckle would be happy there too, mostly deciduous but there are some evergreens.
