Adjusting pension contributions question

Hi I set up a pension with my employer less than a year ago I am 32 years of age and I am giving 15% employer 3%.
I understand I can give 20% in my thirties does this include employer contributions or can I give
20% and employer still give 3%?

Forgive my ignorance but I'm not sure it's with a private company through Irish life is all I know.

Sounds likely to be a PRSA, in which case your employer's contribution counts towards your limit, so you'd currently be at 18%
