    About €500-€600 from main dealer.

I would say 250 for the service and about 450 for the brakes.
    Brakes could be more again.

A full service with Hyundai, with oil, air, fuel and pollen should be €330. Front pads and discs should be €395.

Genuine Hyundai braking components, particularly discs are insanely expensive, dealers will allude to that themselves. You'd probably save €100 on the brakes going independent. The service isn't terrible.

Their brake parts are very high quality compared to a lot of motor factor ones in our experience with an older i30

It doesn't sell the brakes though. When a lad pulls in with a 6 year old i30 and you quote €400 for front lads and discs on top of a service when an indepdents will do them with good quality bits for €250 it does nothing for the dealer.

It's something Hyundai should look at IMO. When you can get front pads and discs on a 3 year old A6 in a main dealer for €379. I know it's apples and oranges but a comparison at the same time.
