    Hi

I have 20mm steel conduit running from my attic down my wall. I was wondering is it ok to run CAT6 down the conduit along with the power cables for the light at the end of the conduit.

I was to put an IP camera near the light so was wondering could I use the existing conduit or would that be bad practice.

    Thanks

    Luke

This would be considered bad practice. Not something I would do.

A few factors influence the risk of interference, including:
    - How far containment is shared
    - The magnitude of the current in the power cable
    - Whether the CAT 6 cable is screened or not.

Why not run a 2nd conduit?

The first line of your response was sufficient if its not best practice, we will look at another way. Thanks for responding.
