Just curious about something here. I saw an excel doc the other day in work and it was a budget submission for 2021. There was columns with the assigned budget for various categories for 2020 and another column for required budget for 2021 for the same categories. There was also a column labelled Outturn 2020. I've never heard that term before. What does it mean? There were no figures so I presume it's some kind of year end total?

Maybe, but then again it could mean something else depending on the terminology that is in common use in your company. Why not ask the person who made the XL sheet for clarification?
