New PC Build - First timer!

When it comes to building a PC I'm a beginner - an absolute begginer.
I've about 10 hours watching youtube videos behind me - so I learned a little bit.

Anyway,I'm in the process of choosing components for my first ever PC build and I've come here to listen to some expert opinions!

How am I doing with the above?

Also,I have a few niggles with the list.

MOBO: I originally wanted the MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, but as it was out of stock I chose the MSI B450-A PRO MAX instead - Right choice, or is there a better alternative?

Case: I'm not fully on board with the case due to the lack of ventilation at the front. But.. the price suits me in comparison to the Fractal Meshify C which is currently priced at €220 - Are there other alternatives worth considering?

Case fans: - The Corsair 175R comes with 2 fans, 1 on the front, 1 on the back - I want to add 1 more intake to the front, and 2? more to the top as exhausts - what good value/good quality fans can you recommend please.

Ram: Have I enough in 16gb?

And finally,

Ordering all of this from PC Partpicker - are they trustworthy? Have you had any issues?

Don't spend money on windows 10. Get a grey market code for less than a tenner if the activation message annoys you.

Fans Arctic P12 PWM are good value. I see amazon have some "uphere" tripple packs. I have the RGB ones and I would recommend those. Not sure what the non-rgb ones are like.

Just done a bit of homework on the P400A and it's much more to my liking, thank you.

Yep, hence I chose to opt for a better cooler as that stock one isn't very popular, or effective apparently - cheers.

I would go for something like the Tomahawk board with the new B550 chipset, they are slightly more expensive but worth it for PCie 4.0 and upgradability in the future

Ideally I would have preferred M.2 storage but it brings me out of budget - maybe the shop around will loosen the purse strings for an M.2 - thanks.

@Samuel T. Cogley Could you send a link for rgb Arctic p12s. I've been thinking of getting em but haven't been able to find any RGB ones. I've only seen white ones with transparent fans which I guess take led light from strips well but wouldn't mind the RGB option if it's available

Threw a build together for you. The main use is photo editing then? You should really get a nice 4k IPS monitor then. This case has 4 case fans already.

Order all of the stuff on Amazon and pay in GBP. They charge a load to do the conversion. Your bank will only charge 50c.

Just a heads up that I had issues getting that motherboard to run with memory not on the QVL. Now this was with a R5 2600 and it was HyperX memory I eventually went with. Hopefully it won't be an issue but it's worth ordering the memory from a retailer like Amazon so you can return it if there are issues.

I'd suggest getting a VESA mount as well so you can use and adjust both monitors. Can edit portrait or landscape pictures then too using the full screen.

Sorry for the confusion, it's not the Arctic ones that are RGB it's the "up here" 3 or 6 pack. They come in various configs, and good fans but don't support a huge range of RGB headers. I have the PWM ones and the lighting effect is controlled with a wee button.
