    Hi Folks,

I'm looking to break a doorway in from my kitchen to the existing garage located at the side of my house.

The wall I'd be going out through is external cavity wall, Load bearing, and with the garage located behind it which has already been converted by the previous owners.

There's no plumbing or electrical to move, thank god!

I'd be looking to put in a regular internal wooden door and frame.

Anyone any idea on the price of this installation?

Also, do i need to get an Engineer/Architect involved as it is a load bearing wall?

    Thanks in advance
