I hope to study Masters in Education and looking for possible tax reliefs available?
The Masters will be 2 years part time and fees is 6000 euros per year.
I will be working full time while doing this Masters.

Any idea how do I apply for this tax relief? Or any other grants I could look for please?

    Thank you.

I am a matured student with annual income of 60,000 euros. It seems I can only avail tax relief at 20%

    Salary is irrelevant.
As course is part time, disregard the 1st €1,500 and you get 20% relief on the balance of €4,500 so €900.

To the best of my knowledge, with the exception of the relief on pensions contributions, all tax reliefs are given at the standard rate of income tax, i.e. 20%.

(The reason being equity; i.e. that it would be unfair to allow a high earner to benefit more from a tax relief than someone on a lower income.)

Thank you, it's very useful information.

I understand salary matters when we apply for other grants such as susi grants.

    Yeah that is true.
I meant unless salary (and any other income) is under €31,500 total, everything over that is irrelevant for a Post Grad.

One of the others is nursing home expenses, you get marginal relief here also
