    Hi all,

I’m looking at changing cars, interested in a small suv type.

Currently driving a Volvo V60, very comfortable car but the most boring car I’ve ever driven. Prior to it, I’ve always had BMW’s.

I’ve been looking at the X1 model and was wondering if anyone has any direct experience with them? In terms of size it’s about right and the higher spec ones seem to have most of the extras I’d like.

I’ll be buying 2nd hand as I don’t want to take out a loan to finance it

Which generation of X1 are you talking about?

Would you not look at a 3 series Touring instead of an X1, that's still rear wheel drive and has 50:50 weight distribution if you want something with the traditional BMW driving experience?

    Hi all,

I’ve had a crazy busy few weeks so that explains the lack of response.
After a lot of consideration I’ve gone for a nicely specked 4 wheel drive, automatic Tiguan.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Bmw‘s but I’m happy with my choice.
