A seemingly hot race but I'll be on Master of the Seas at 3pm. 5/1 seems a bit eye watering to me.

I have been told specifically by a connection of Khafaaq that it's tearing at the bit to run. 6/1 best price in open company, so I would not be going mad.

All over Never Back Down in same race.
Lost 10 lengths at the start last time and ran a cracker considering.
    25s again.

July cup looks a cracking race and could make a case for all of them! Be interested to see how Sceptical does as Dettori blamed himself for the loss the last day and said he'd do things differently next time. However I'm going with Brando at 40-1 4 places. I think the old boy still has a big run in him and just can't ignore 40-1.

Sir Busker runs in 3.50 Newmarket. Got up late at Ascot in the consolation hunt cup. He's dropping down in trip today so a slight concern but I think he can still be competitive off the revised mark. Hold up horse so will need to get going a little sooner under this shorter trip 11/1

The other I'll try is the front runner Ornate in the last at Ascot 4.10. Runs well here and current mark is workable. Very competitive race so grab all the place offers you can 40/1 ew

Have you ever not blamed a jockey when you've had a losing bet. It's OK to be wrong yourself sometimes. It loses any credibility when it is always the jockeys fault.

Why would you have a bet if you don't trust any jockeys. Surely be as well off to spare yourself the anguish.

That's a very good 2yo. I doubt 25/1 for the 2000 Guineas will last very long.

A good few old favorites in the next. Should be a cracking race.

That was impressive by Mohaather who was unlucky in the Queen Anne. Be good to see him step up to be competitive in group 1s now.

Hello Youmzain is after drifting to 6.6 on Betfair I can't resist a little small bet at the price.
Think Golden Horde will take the beating though if I'm honest.

Fallon is probably my favorite jockey of all time. Fair play to young lad. That's class.

Goes to show that this year's bunch of 6f sprinters are nothing special.

With the exception of Battaash, there's nothing much around over 5f or 6f.

There are worse 40/1 shots than Ornate in this delayed 3.50 at Ascot

Cumani saying Murphy should have brought the second through the pack,
on account of him hanging left

FFS an 18 runner handicap; horse out the back, and she wants him to thread the needle.

I backed the horse myself and have no complaints, beaten by a very good horse and daylight between the rest :pac:

Zabeel Prince surely take some beating if anyway near his best.
To many unknowns for a bet for me. Patrick Sarsfield still improving but has a bit to find if Zabeel Prince runs his race.

My bad, I was looking only at Oddschecker where I think he was best price 2/9 in PP; thought that 1/10 might be incorrect or outdated.. No account to check machine prices.

FYI you don't need an account to look at the prices.

I really like Lightning Amber in the last here. I'd say probably my best bet of the day. The favorite is plenty short enough. 10/1 is very very fair. Got a horrid trip last time against Patrick Sarsfield and stayed on into a well beaten 6th.
She won her maiden nicely and also ran a nice race on handicap debut.

Really nice run from Paul Cole's Duke of Hazzard to finish third in the Group 2 at Ascot today. Should tee him up nicely for a race at Glorious Goodwood at the end of the month, and the Celebration Mile in August. He's a fair few pounds better at the Sussex track.
