SkyQ Cards

    I am a Irish SkyQ customer. Obviously we don't have ITV channels and channel 4 HD on the EPG. If I purchased a NI or UK SkyQ card rang up sky could they switch me over?

    You can add those channels yourself

    Yeah but they are in the 'other channels' and not recordable and no EPG

    Don't think sky can give you a UK card, freeview box wud have those channels and you cud record that way?

    Only if you are near enough to the UK to receive Freeview.

    The cards are the property of sky so any on sale are stolen. I believe Q cards are paired to the receiver.

    Was thinking about the paring alright, think the older cards worked in the older boxes
