So, what did many do during the lockdown for sex,(those that are single obviously) when meets ups, hooks ups were out of bounds as it were.

Did people use other means for satisfaction?
    i.e cam sex, phone sex?

Apparently sex toys sales increased by a huge % during lockdown

About a month into lock down I drove two hours back to my college apartment to get my toiletries bag with all my sex bits. Was 100% worth it too

Im too anxious to hook ups with guys so it's been a solo endeavour for the last few months. I've gotten bored of porn so now it's purely an imagination and memory game but even that gets stale when you have absolutely zero fresh material to go off.

2 hour drive for sex toys, wow, must definitely have been worth it ,lol

I get where youre coming from re things getting stale.
That was really the point of my question, how are people coping etc.

I've been spending weekends with great music, square peg depth probes, and crackstuffers depth trainers.

It's been quite enjoyable and de-stressing.

You could have at least mixed it up and went with the right for a change of grip/pace. Would have felt like a wee holiday for your left hand!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

That reminds me of a story Billy Connolly told once about a man who went into a cubicle for a BJ. He was duly serviced by someone in the other cubicle by means of a glory hole.

When the deed was over, both came out of their respective cubicles and lo and behold the one giving the BJ was the mans son!

    Was that a joke.

Here we find ourselves again. Are people going to strictly adhere to lockdown or make a few compassionate visits?

Myself I've met a few nice boys but Im just gonna keep it to one over the next few weeks. Definitely no point going on grindr etc now, a quick shag isnt worth the hassle.

Been chatting to a boy on tinder and we’re just going to meet for coffee or something. No kisses or sex though

Met a lad at the start of August just as the last lockdown was ending and jesus christ the drama that followed... not in a huge hurry to get into that again, what ever happened to a good old fashioned hookup?!

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I don't see the point of random hooking up / nsa, if you get some good dick you should hold onto it with both hands imo. Friends with benefits is ideal if that's what you're looking for but it can be hard to maintain over a few weeks / months.

I agree some lads are just pure drama though

I had a date a couple of weeks ago and things went really well. I think we both want things to keep going. Would like to meet again but just dont think its worth the risk

    Also here is official advice

I didn't think about this as I have a partner. Now I feel sorry for people who had to go through this. I don't even know what I would do...
