Wireless video transmitters

    Hi all,

Unsure if this is the best place for my question, but it seemed to match.

My parents have an Asian tv channels box that they connect to the main TV in the living room. Their current setup allows them to also watch these tv channels on the TV in their bedroom. The channels box is connected, from my understanding, like this: TV (HDMI) > channels box > video recorder (AV) > transmitter (?).

And then the TV in their room has just a receiver connected to it and they’re able to use the channels box controller to control the box from their room.

I was searching, with my limited knowledge, for a better way to do this and a more modern solution as the video recorder and AV setup is starting to come to its end of life. Is there a better way of doing it?

The important thing here is the TV in the living room is on standby the whole time and doesn’t have to be on, and it must also be able to be controlled from the TV in their room.

    Any help appreciated.
