    Hi,

Does anyone know a mechanic that can fit a mavic-r-sys-slr spoke ?

I sourced a replacement spoke but it requires a specialist wheel builder /mechanic to fit ?

I am based in Limerick Thanks

    thanks

you probably should mention where in the country you are.

Is this type of spoke simply threaded into the rim, where it 'pulls' the spoke....
I would have thought anyone capable of fitting 'normal' spokes would have no problem with this.
Once you have a way to keep the shaft of the spoke from turning , as you tighten the nipple.

Sorry, I'm mixing these up with a different Mavic spoke.
These look like they need to be tensioned correctly, so maybe your bike shop has not got the equipment for that.
If the shop supplies Mavic products, they should be able to send the wheel to their supplier to be replaced. If not, I'd look for a shop that does supply Mavic products and ask them.
