Does anyone on here have any experience of fitting a rooflight with a recessed flashing for slate? I know my builder is well used to fitting regular rooflights but when I mentioned a recessed flashing he didn't seem to know what I was on about. I'm just wondering if there's much more work in fitting these than the regular ones? Thanks.

Does the roof light come with its own recessed kit, like you get with velux

Yes. Only difference I can see is the recessed flashing is longer than the standard one. I haven't opened the boxes yet I was going to just leave it to the builder and hope he has no problem with it. It's definitely the correct flashing though....I double checked :)
