Garmin vector 2 battery "door" replacement

    Yo.

    We've 2 sets of Vector 2's in the house and the coin-slot on the pods which facilitates the threaded opening/closing of the battery door for installation/removal of the battery has been obliterated over time.

    I've been on to Garmin weeks ago about a fix and was surprised to hear nothing back, 'cos I've had very favourable interactions with Garmin customer service previously. - I know you can buy new pods altogether, but that's a couple of hundred quid, all I want is to fix/replace the battery compartment bit.

    Anyone been through this and found a fix or a workaround or a replacement?
