What's your dream in life?

My mum, god rest her soul, sat me down as a child one day and she told me, 'Son, dream big or don't dream at all, got it?' and I said, 'Don't threaten me' and she said, 'Son, I'm not threatening you. I just want you to dream big and reach for the stars.' and I said, 'Yeah well stop robbing lyrics from S Club 7 and give me your sage advice, not Pete Waterman's sage advice' and she said, 'The bloke who was on X-Factor?' and I said, 'Oh f*ck off you know it was Pop Idol'. Long story short, it ended in a row between us, but I always remember her telling me to dream big. It's important to dream big. If you dream small, you achieve small. If you dream big, well, you know how it goes. So I'm finally starting to dream big. I have to lease Croke Park off the Gaelic Athletic Association, that's how big my dreams are now. My skull just isn't big enough to contain them. It'd be like trying to shoot the next Transformers film in a bedsit. One of my dreams - not the big one, I'm keeping that to myself until it happens - is to have sex with a girl who works in Inglot. I think they're stunning. They all have those arse-accentuating jeans, and tight dark tops that make their boobs look like a couple of camel humps. And their faces? Jesus H. They're beauties. I think if my mum were still alive she'd be disappointed that this is one of my biggest dreams in life - I also want to own West Ham one day - but if she saw these Inglot beauties, she'd understand.

If some country did a new round of nuclear weapons tests, I'd really like to see them in nice high res 4k. The Cold War ones are getting a bit boring. I'd like the footage, and just to kick back with a few beers and watch with friends.

I don't know about that. I've always thought you could make a decent fist of a stop-motion Transformers movie in a bedsit using the toy figures. It might take a while, but go hard or go ****in' home.

Paragraphs are for children and FF voters.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

To have a fully refurbished low hours 110-90 in the shed, just to have a spin un every now and again cost about 20 k, achievable but not for a few years yet, oh and also have a couple of kids with the wife if good fortune smiles upon us, im easily pleased

Personally I always dreamed of working in Inglot.

I love wearing tight jeans that hug my arse, and a dark top that accentuates my big boobs. I've been told my face has symmetry approaching perfection.

Seeing as the dream died today I think I'll just become an influencer and monetize my posterior.

They'll be a little bit lost now, if you can track any of them down it might be your best shot.

    God speed.

For me and the other half to own a house outright in a quiet area, probably not the most ambitious but I daydream about that more than anything else!

I had dreams once, lots of them. Then the crushing reality kicks in and you realise that most dreams are simply that, and I was setting myself up for failure. I have very few dreams now, the main one being to win the lotto so I can get those others dreams back. I've also found with less dreams, which are more realistic, like score a Q when there's nothing around, dreams can come true. Still waiting on that lotto one.

My second dream, which depends on the first one coming true, is to move to Japan and become a harajuku girl. Would look well with the big ginger beard imo. Maybe start a new babymetal band. Looks like fun. Definitely marry a Japanese lady, or even better a Japanese lady robot, just in case I don't like the noise, be handy to switch it off.

Final big dream, again depending on the first one coming true, is a trip into space. Really, I want to land on a planet that allows me to look up and see multiple planets close by, just a sight that is amazing in games, would love to experience it, but I think that is definitely a dream beyond reality for now, at least until we figure out FTL travel.

I don't care what kind of parent you are, whether a bit distant or too overprotective, too critical or too permissive -- the worst thing you can do to a child is give them low expectations.

I think I was about 18 or even 20 when I realised I probably wouldn't go to the Olympics... I really grew up believing I had my choice of discipline.

Obviously there's a risk of someone getting a big ego, but that's for siblings to keep in-check. Give your child high expectations from life, and they'll do anything.

Buy a field and grow a forest. I would like to start it now so I can have a walk in it when I retire.
