Why wouldn't they? Pubs are back open on the 20th of July?

    I don't get the question?

Kinda reads like you’re looking for a stag to crash!

Because social distancing rules including the 6 to a table and max 105 minutes will still apply.

I thought all that was done and dusted on the 20th of July. Obviously not.

Sure I would say any people with apartments booked will still go ahead and just have a house party all weekend. Lads be mad to get away from their missus for a few days.

I'd say most pubs around then will flaunt the rules anyway and will be able to stay as long as you want.

Any of the country pubs around me are still open and people can stay as long as they want with no social distancing happening. I would say 50% of them are open and only have the local takeaway menu laminated as a work around.

Pubs are flaunting the rules all over the place at the minute so no reason why a stag couldn't go ahead. Only thing I can think of the bar owner mightn't let them in if they are not regulars.

Of the 20th of July , I know there calling it full reopening of pubs but won't it still have a time limit and people will have to be seated ?

Fairly unlikely any semi large group could stay for the night in a pub and go wild. Having to stay at the table, groups split up into 6 and a time limit are all gonna be in the way. There also won't be much of a clubby or town atmosphere

Not the same but probably the best thing you could do is a big house party. At least it's all in your control then.

You'd be surprised by how many people would actually support it after seeing the video from Dublin over the weekend.

I don't think it would be worth even trying for a stag or hen over the next while. I had a hen planned for my friend in September and we've cancelled. It was disappointing to pull the plug on it but it wasn't a runner, not if you want a big group and plan to go out out.

Covid19 was never just going to cease to exist on a given date. We will have these restrictions in place until there is a vaccine or we've eradicated the virus (unlikely).

To me, a Stag of 20 sounds ridiculous right now. Too many people, too messy. While I don't doubt a bit of rule bending will go on (this is Ireland after all), that just seems like too big and obvious a group. Publicans would be asking for trouble dealing with groups like that right now.

I find it mad there is only one 2 minute clip from dame lane,
You'd have though if it was that bad there would many videos going around ,

Also a lot of the pubs in the area where still closed and it seemed to be people hanging around drinking can's bought from off licenses,

There is an argument if all the pubs had of been open it could have catered to the most of the people and stopped them all standing together in the lane,
