Purple Magenta screen Humax HDR1010S

Humax HDR1010S has developed a fault where either there is a blank magenta screen on power on, or the picture has a severe magenta tint, maybe no green.

Unplugging the power brick for a while (more than a couple of minutes) will "reset" the issue for a hour or a few days.

Has anyone else seen this? Is it the capacitors on the various internal SMPSUs (there seems to be a few distributed across the main PCB) or is it the external PSU "brick"? It seems more likely an internal fault on one PSU rather than external brick as I only unplugged the DC connector at the rear of the box rather than at the mains socket. But I suppose it could be the external "brick".

I could obviously replace all likely Electrolytic Caps, but the main board has quite a few and likely tricky multilayer PCB. Only a few are surface mounted, most have leads. Then it might be the external PSU or something else. So I'd like some opinion from anyone that has repaired this fault.

No, not HDMI cable anyway. The HDMI tracks on the main board seem to go to the chip with the big heatsink.

Try a can of freezer spray on all the likely candidiates?

Freezer spray not much good for faulty electrolytic capacitors.
I've replaced one cap and so far it's OK, but then it was an erratic fault. My wife doesn't want it back!

Will save me a fortune when I've got the same problem.
