Laptop for Football manager

Hi,

Looking to buy a laptop that will play Football manager 2020 easily and for the next few years as well.

Laptop will literally only be used for Football manager and surfing the web. Won't be travelling with it so would prefer a big enough screen.

Would like something E500 or cheaper (ideally in an Irish shop or someone like Amazon that ships directly to Ireland. Don't want to use parcel motel etc.)

Really appreciate the reply mate. I'd be hoping to get it asap tbh and don't mind paying a bit more rather than getting it shipped from abroad.

I'd go up to E700 tbh to get it in a shop in Dublin in the next few days (even if the same model is available for 100+ cheaper online)

I'm clueless with tech so just need something that will fulfill the minimum specs for FM 2020 (as posted above). Would definitely like a 15+ inch screen though.

then I'd go for this from amazon for £549 so you'd get it soon enough - sometime next week. sterling is fairly weak right now.

but for £599 you could get a gaming laptop. for only £50 more it's probably worth it if you don't need portability. you should get fairly quick delivery from both of these sites.

much better new 6-core cpu and also much better gpu (graphics card).


I'd stretch to this option if at all possible (not much over your 700 budget) as it's a good bit superior over the other two gaming laptops. will run your football mgr very well with higher settings

this is a great deal really - not sure how long it will last at that price tbh. amazon's customer service is also excellent if there are any issues. you won't do better than this.

Circumstances have changed and I'm looking for a smaller lighter laptop. Just wondering how well the 14 inch magicbook that you highly recommend would handle Football manager? I see the laptop is on sale for a good price atm. I don't use the 3D match engine and I wouldn't need every league loaded (usually only play with around 3-4 nations and 7-8 leagues with a large database)

Sorry, not sure if you are big into gaming but I noticed that on Steam that you can only buy the most recent FM (2020). I'd still like to play some of the older titles but with no disc drive is there anyway to (legally) buy, download and play the older games?
