Cistern constantly releasing water

    Not sure if this should be in here or DIY forum but wondering if anybody can tell me how to stop water continuously overflowing from the cistern into the toilet, which seems to be constantly flowing from the piece that is circled in the attached photo.

    Water off first.



    Check that can screw off and there should be a black washer, little bigger than a 2 euro coin (about a euro to buy), just replace it
