    Hi there,

I have a 2014 Mk7 Golf 2.0TDI. For last few months I notice that when driving at low speeds over bumps and ramps, the car makes a creaking noise. Noise seems to be coming from front of car.

VW looked at the car and said nothing is wrong, and it passed NCT last week.

But this noise is really annoying me.

Has anyone else here experienced this issue or know any fixes?

See video clip below. Noise is at about 5 seconds in.

There is a TPI for apying grease to the rearmost bush on the front lower wishbone as they tend to groan a bit like that, particularly in dry weather. Very popular in them.

Thanks for your reply. Can these TPIs be found online?

Yea is there anywhere TPIs can be found online? I mean how do independent garages find out about the common manufacturer problems and remedys. Is it just through speaking to their local main dealer parts and service dept or would main dealers email such comms to their local trade contacts.

Yes I found the TPI for my problem on erwin.volkswagen.de
You have to pay for the service. It is about €7 for one hour.
But all the information you need is on there.

I don't think there is an easy way to do that unfortunately.
I got what I needed for my problem (see link below)
I applied the fix and all is well now again.
It's a good service, but I really disagree with having to grease rubber bushings. Clear design flaw.
