Mad no, but you really need to have your eyes open. They always cost more than you think and take longer to complete. Not as popular as old Fords or Masseys so parts maybe hard to get. If your mechanically minded and can do alot of work yourself then that'll obviously help with costs

Is it out in the open?
Has the exhaust been kept covered?
If there has got water into the engine it'll get expensive quick to repair if you want to keep the original engine for sentimental reasons.
If you're not so worried about stuff like that, and the tin work is good, 6-800 euro will get you a running engine out of a Leyland or old JCB.
Budget €2000 minimum together it up and running..
30 years is a long time sitting in our climate..

    What model is it?
As Nekarsulm asks has the exhaust been covered? Are you able to crank over the engine?

Have you a photo of it?

We had a 10/60 growing up.
Seemed like a giant to a 12 year old let loose with PZ 165 mower...
Lambourne cab, that big bucket seat, hand throttle lever that seemed like it was two foot long, and steering wheel offset a bit...
    Good times.
