CDW for renting in Ireland but not a resident

    Has anyone here a contact for a firm which provides CDW for non residents renting a car in Ireland, AIG, carehireexcess.ie and other firms all state the person must be a permanent resident.

    You should look for the policy in your current country of residency.

    Do you live in Ireland now?

    I am not resident in Ireland, the car hire firm offered it but it was 30 euro a day. I was hoping to take out my own however that may not be an option.
