Hi. Hoping to buy a 1 year old car next week from trader (but not main dealer). Car seems fine to me and garage going to do first service pre sale.

I presume getting a car check is the way to go pre purchase (25000)....anyone to recommend in Dublin Southside?

    Thanks

One question - is the car so unique/special that you would not consider buying new for peace of mind. 25000 buys you a lot these days....just wondering.

Just because the OP is spending 25k doesn't mean he/she has to buy brand new though. Plenty of used cars out there costing 25k that are vastly superior to a 25k brand new car yet don't necessarily need to be special or unique. For example a 3 year old Audi A6 is still vastly superior to a brand new Dacia Duster.

Thanks. I've gone with a local garage that specialises in the brand
