Sky+ not recording from BBC1

    My Sky+ box is failing to record a show on BBC1, despite it being shown as scheduled in the planner.


    I originally had it set to record on BBC1 HD, but also set it to record on BBC1 NI HD to see if that would work, but neither actually recorded.



    I've been through all the help sections on the website, but didn't find anything that might help. Sky customer service seems to be closed down for the weekend (they have messages up about reduced service due to Covid-19, which is fair enough I suppose).


    Just wondering if anyone has any ideas why this might be happening?


    All other series links and scheduled recordings happen no problem, it's just the one show on BBC1 that doesn't record (Pointless at 5.15pm, if it makes any difference!). I don't have any error messages, or failed recordings shown - the thing just dosn't bother recording.


    Any ideas??

    ETA - other BBC1 recordings seem to happen no problem - maybe I should check on the Pointless thread to see if the show was actually broadcast?? That's the only reason I can think of for the box to simply not record it.

    The BBC have had the daily Covid Briefings covering that timeslot on BBC1 with Pointless swapped to BBC2, for some reason they kept it scheduled on BBC1 throughout this period with the swaps being added later.

    It has mostly been back on BBC1 for the last few weeks but if there is an additional Briefing (as there was Thurs and Fri this week) they swap Pointless back to BBC2 again. The EPG-series link will sometimes catch these changes but it depends on how the metadata is added for them and how late the swaps are. BBC are better than most at updating the EPG data but they do occasionally f it up. Similar issues happen with late running sports and people getting partial records of following progs.
